This year the family tour was organised on the 26th, 27th and 28th June. The team went to Ring of Kerry and Dingle. Around 18 families and about 50 persons including children went on this trip.

Friday, 26th June – The bus left from Parkview Drive, Dublin 11. First day we visited Dingle Bay. We arranged a boat trip to see Dolphin ‘Fungi’. After that we went to the Dingle Oceanworld aquarium. Then we left Dingle to Kerry and got back at the Hostel – The Sleepy Camel, Glenbeigh, Kerry. As planned we had a barbeque dinner in the evening at the hostel.

Saturday, 27th June – The day’s weather was not that favourable. Light showers most of the time. However, the party enjoyed the bus trip around the Ring of Kerry. There were loads of games, songs, and kids recital during the bus ride, which was packed with fun in its own way. The lunch was arranged by caterers at Caherdaniel, ‘The best view in Ireland’, overlooking Scarriff Island. It was mostly getting down at picturesque places, enjoying the raw beauty of Kerry and taking family and group pictures. We got back to The Sleepy Camel Hostel that evening and dinner was ready. Kids enjoyed indoor and outdoor games, before calling it a day.

Sunday, 28th June – After breakfast the party left The Sleepy Camel, Glenbeigh to Dublin via Killarney. On the way the party halted at Rossbeigh beach and it was play time for kids, in the sun, sand and water. We then left to Muckross House, Killarney, the lunch was served by caterers and after that it was shopping time, horse drawn carriage ride, play in the park etc. etc. before landing back safe in Dublin.

That was indeed a time to cherish together as a MIND family and definitely a memorable one in the years to come.
