Match Rules:

1. Tournament Time: Timings may vary according to the category, and you will be notified closer to the tournament date.
2. Match Timeline: The allotted teams must be ready 10 minutes before the start of their respective matches. All matches will be played for 25 minutes without break time.
3. Attendance: The match will be called off in case a team is not present at the pitch, after 5 minutes of start time. The winners’ points will be awarded to the team present at the pitch.
4. Dress code:
   • Teams must wear a uniformed jersey/similar color top/and a player number at the back of the top, if possible.
   • Boots with metal studs, plastic sharp studs, or blades are strictly prohibited during the match. A player must change the boot or leave the pitch if found and asked by the referee.
   • All players must wear shin guards while playing.
5. Referees: The games will be managed by the Football Association of Ireland qualified referees. The referee will take appropriate actions on any matters and the decision will be final.
6. Red Card: In case any player who sees the red card, will be banned from playing the next match in the tournament.
7. Fixtures/group classification: This will be announced a few days before the tournament.
8. Disqualification:
   • MIND committee will have the right to disqualify any team/or team member on the basis of misconduct, rude behaviour or any unlawful activity or any action that may disrupt freedom of any individual/team/the progress of the tournament or anyone who violates a public order or behaves against the standing orders/norms or rules of this tournament.
   • Swapping players between the teams is not allowed and may result in disqualification of the team.
9. Penalty in Semi and Final: Penalty shootouts will decide the winner if the score level after full time of the match.
10. Age Proof: If challenged by any other team captain or manager, the player or manager of the accused team member should have to present the age proof of the player/players. The age is calculated as of April 20, 2024

Other Rules:

1. Registration fee for a team is €100 (non-refundable) for a 10-player team. A Team can register only up to 14 players (Example: a team with 14 players remits €140)
2. Each team should have a point of contact (eg. captain/manager) and should talk only to that person with the referee or the committee in case of any dispute.
3. MIND may publish photographs/videos of the tournament. Please do reach out to us if you have any concerns or objections to publishing your kid’s photographs/video.
4. In case of any unforeseen situation where a game or tournament cannot be continued, MIND will make appropriate decisions to postpone/organize a knockout tournament or penalty shootout to determine the winners.
5. Food, snacks, and drinks are available to buy from ALSAA restaurant.
6. Keep the premises clean and litter-free at all times.
7. MIND committee will have the right to modify or cancel any of the above rules.

Awards:

1. The winning team and runner-up team will receive the Trophies and medals for all registered players.
2. The top scorer of the tournament and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will be recognized with special awards in each category.
